BirthDays was established by Annie and Joyce in 2020. Annie and Joyce met when working in different Consultant led Maternity units at the beginning of their midwifery careers. Prior to this, both practiced as Registered Nurses. Following their meeting, they both gained experience in stand-alone Midwife-led units in Northern Ireland. Annie and Joyce currently practice together in a local Midwifery-led Unit. Joyce is a qualified Reflexologist and has experience providing treatments to mothers-to-be. They are highly skilled in all aspects of Maternity care and are passionate about sharing their knowledge to empower pregnant couples through the most exciting journey of their lives.

Annie

Annie’s aspiration is to ensure you, the Mum-to-be, are prepared and supported throughout pregnancy, not only to reduce anxieties surrounding your birth but to be able to enjoy the experience. A woman never forgets her birth experience. Annie’s mission is for you to create a positive memory that you can treasure forever. Annie is married and has five children. She has a passion for babies’ and children’s well-being and how the early years can affect a child’s emotional and mental health. Her family have been foster carers since 2011.

Joyce

Outside of work Joyce has a passion for travel. Whether this is for sporting events, concerts, shopping or to see a West End show. She has travelled to the furthest corners of the world for the opportunity of seeing exciting places and having new experiences. Meeting different people and finding out about different cultures is what makes Joyce tick! She loves eating out and chatting over a well made flat white.
