Courses:

The term ‘course’ refers to any class, course, workshop, webinar, or event that BirthDays organises. It also includes any telephone conversation or support service.

Booking:

For the current course costs and dates, please refer to our courses page for the most up to date information.

Before booking onto a course, please read the course’s description, to ensure the event will meet your needs and expectations. Should you wish further details in relation to the course, prior to booking your course then please contact us.

By your completion and submission of a registration you agree to our Terms and Conditions and enter into a binding contract with BirthDays. This includes any free, discounted, or subsidised courses.

Invoices and payment:

Full course fees (including any card processing and/or booking fees) are payable upon booking.

For online bookings paid at the time of booking, invoices/receipts will be issued electronically from the booking website on completion of booking.

All payment must be made in pounds Sterling by credit/debit card. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable date.

Course attendance:

Attendees will receive their joining instructions via email to the email address provided in this booking form.

Where the course is being held virtually either as scheduled or at the clients’ request, then the relevant log in at least 1 week prior to the commencement of the course, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their software or application (app) is current and the latest version.

It is the responsibility of the individual completing the course registration form to ensure joining instructions are received. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at info@BirthDays.Baby and arrange for them to be resent.

BirthDays will send all correspondence primarily to the email provided on the booking form. If alternative details are received after the submission of the booking form, they will supersede the original details and all future correspondence will be sent to the new email address.

Failure to attend the course at which a free, discounted, or concessionary rate were in place may result in the attendee becoming ineligible for such places at future events. The eligibility for future courses will be at BirthDays sole discretion.

Cancellations and refunds:

All requests for cancellations must be emailed to:

Your cancellation will take effect on the date we receive your email. For your protection you should keep a copy of any email you have sent to us asking to cancel your booking.

Note

Should BirthDays be able to resell your place on the course, we will offer a 90% refund of the attendance fee.

Exceptional circumstances

In the following exceptional circumstances, which include but are not limited to those listed below, BirthDays will offer a full refund.

  • If your baby arrives before the start of the course.
  • If you suffer the sad loss of a baby.
  • Or at the sole discretion of BirthDays.

Should any course be cancelled or not attain for any reason, the required minimum number of participants to run. BirthDays will endeavour to inform all attendees one to two weeks before the course is due to start, although please be aware this is not always possible. BirthDays will try to offer you a suitable alternative course, but if not, available you will be entitled to a full refund.

It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of BirthDays, to change the date, time, duration, programme content or venue.

Should the new date and time not be convenient for you, BirthDays will endeavour to offer you an alternative course, but if not, available you will be given a full refund. In the unlikely event that the event venue needs to be changed no refund will be offered.

In the event of cancellation of a course by BirthDays, we will ensure that all course fees will be reimbursed in full, or the payment transferred in full to another BirthDays course.

BirthDays shall not accept any liability for any consequent loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any costs that may have been incurred, including transport and accommodation costs etc.

Goods:

All payment for goods must be made in pounds Sterling by credit/debit card. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the applicable date.

Passing of property:

BirthDays will retain ownership of the goods until full payment has been received and all funds have cleared. Then the risk in the goods pass to the Customer on delivery

You have a right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and a further 14 days to return the goods once you have told us you wish to cancel.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Should it be necessary to return the goods due to a defect or discrepancy in the order, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. BirthDays will also refund any delivery charge for sending the item to you and any standard (not premium) cost incurred by you for returning the item. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to BirthDays as soon as possible. Please ensure you obtain a proof of postage.

Should any products not be available at the time of your order, BirthDays will forward to you, as soon as possible, when received from the manufacturer. BirthDays cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by the manufacturer, or any other third party.

Exchanges:
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds:
BirthDays will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Unless the goods are faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the cost of returning them to us. Please ensure you obtain a proof of postage when you do so.

Shipping:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £70, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
